William Hill has brought back its College Pick’em Contest.  This is great news for those who have been starved of a good college contest.  The entry fee is $500 and the contest will run for 10 weeks starting on 9/10/16.

Unlike its Pro Pick’em, William Hill’s College Contest will you require you to pick against the spread.  Each week you will select 7 games from the contest sheet.  There will be 100% return of entry fees as prize money.  The top three places collect.  1st Place receives 70%, 2nd Place 20%, and 3rd Place 10%.

I like that William Hill has brought back this college contest because it definitely fills a void in the market.  I think that the prize money is a little top heavy giving 70% to first place and limiting payouts to the top 3 places.  I would like to see that expanded next year to the top 5 or top 10 depending on how many entries they get this year.
