About the Westgate SuperContest Gold
Westgate SuperContest Gold is the high-stakes, small-field sibling of the Westgate SuperContest. The weekly format is the same — pick five NFL games against the spread, earning one point for a win and half a point for a push — but Gold carries a premium $5,000 entry and a winner-take-all prize structure. Instead of paying the top 20, the entire prize pool goes to the single highest scorer at the end of the season, and like the rest of the Westgate contests it runs at 100% payback with no rake.
The higher buy-in and smaller field make Gold the choice for serious handicappers who want a concentrated prize rather than a spread-out payout. A strong season here can return the whole pool to one entrant, which is why it draws a sharp, experienced crowd each year.
As with every Westgate contest, registration and weekly pick submission have to happen in person at the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas. Can I play SuperContest Gold from outside Nevada?
Yes. Gold requires in-person registration and weekly pick submission at the Westgate SuperBook, but VFP does that on your behalf. You send your five against-the-spread picks each week from anywhere and we submit them before the deadline.
How is Gold different from the regular SuperContest?
Same weekly format (five picks against the spread), but Gold has a higher $5,000 entry, a smaller field, and a winner-take-all prize — the whole pool goes to the top scorer, rather than paying the top 20 like the standard SuperContest.
How many Gold entries can I have?
Up to 10 entries per person, and VFP can manage all of them for you under your registered alias.
What does VFP charge to proxy SuperContest Gold?
Our proxy service fee starts at a flat $300 for the season, with no percentage of your winnings and no per-week charges. The $5,000 Gold entry fee is separate and paid to the Westgate.
